Last Saturday 10.23.10, Omega Educational Foundation and the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. hosted another successful Youth Leadership Conference for the 17th consecutive year . We had 265 young Black men in attendance. Having touched the lives of over 3700 young Black men ( ages 8-18 ) over the last 17 years, we all know there is a dire need to assist, touch, mentor and talk to as many young Black men as possible. We have consistently stepped in the gap to fill that void.

Our mission is to save lives....one young man at a time. Because of your help, we are doing just that.

We had 265 young men in attendance, 140 Omega men in coat and tie, and over 100 parents from the surrounding Los Angeles area.

We gave each young man:

• A Book ( Motivating Black Youth to Succeed) to read and keep
• Black Enterprise Magazine for each young man (September 2010) issue
• A T-shirt to wear during the conference for uniformity
• Toothbrush, Toothpaste and Floss to take care of there oral hygiene
• A Backpack
• Schools supplies
• Breakfast and Lunch
• NIKE products for there participation

Lastly, we are eternally grateful for all you have done for the young men in our program over the years, and we appreciate the partnership. Please save the date for the 18th Annual Youth Leadership Conference set for Oct. 22, 2011.
